The Tällberg Forum 2012 takes place June 14 - June 17, 2012 in Tällberg, Sweden

The Tällberg Forum 2012 will return to the village of Tällberg in Dalarna on 14-17 June 2012. Thus we return to our roots after two major events in other places (Leksand 2010, Sigtuna 2011). Both Dalarna and Sigtuna are excellent venues for talks and meetings and now that the Tällberg Foundation has "two homes" programs and events can take place on the best and most appropriate sites.

Every year the Tällberg Forum pitches a big tent for a conversation with leaders from all over the world and all walks of life. The results are new perspectives that help us work more purposefully to fulfill our aspirations - to solve urgent problems, foster deeper insights and empower broader visions by asking "How on Earth can we live together?".

In the ongoing confluence of pressures from the spheres of nature, technology and human society itself, we all struggle to find new paths forward. At Tällberg, we pose difficult questions for serious people, such as those that link corporate strategies with human aspirations, urban redesigns with social wellbeing, innovative financial mechanisms with aid to new development and how to manage our living planetary economy with local, national and global networks of governance.

Difficult issues, yes. But never has it been more urgent for us to hear each other's unique stories and contrasting perspectives in a larger context. That is why we bring together people who, as filmmaker John Liu puts it, "are convinced they have something important to say."
