Presencing Global Forum

In October 2011, Presence Institute gathered in Cambridge MA with fellow change makers from across cultures for their 1st Global Presencing Forum. The 2nd Forum will take place June 18-19, 2012 in Berlin, Germany. Registration will open in January 2012.

Our ongoing goal is to form a global action research community and platform that uses awareness based social technologies like presencing and is committed to reflecting and sharing these experiences with colleagues across sectors and cultures. Our guiding intention is to pioneer practices and pathways for a society that is more sustainable, inclusive, and aware (Society 4.0). We believe that we live in a time where emerging global communities like ours may have a big impact if we can rise to the occasion. This is our time to act in a more intentional, collective and conscious way!

Format

The Forum is designed to provide an inspirational learning environment for all participants as well as an opportunity to connect to others who are working with similar social technologies on related issues. The whole event will be conducted in a highly experimental style. Sessions will allow for individual and shared reflection time. Arawana Hayashi will lead several embodiment and Social Presencing Theatre sessions with the entire Forum.
