Oxford Leadership Academy announces new Supervisory Board & Governance Structure
As part of its planned transition towards professional
management, Oxford Leadership Academy today announced the formation
of a new Supervisory Board, governance and steering
structure.
Academy Chairman and Founder, Brian Bacon said today, "The
formation of the Supervisory Board and new governance structure
are significant steps in growing Oxford Leadership Academy to
the next level. Along with the appointment of Cyril Legrand as CEO
and other senior level appointments, these steps are part of a
planned transition of the Academy towards an exciting new era under
professional management. The Supervisory Board comprises special
individuals who are close to me and deeply committed to the
Academy's higher purpose, values and vision. I am thrilled and
proud of this milestone in our growth"
Oxford Leadership Academy aims to become the world's most
influential leadership services consultancy, developing leaders who
will transform business for good. In a world of increasing speed
and complexity, we believe that leadership wisdom is the sine qua
non of a fairer, more humane and ecologically respectful society.
The world needs new business leaders who are driven by a purpose
beyond products and profits - who can facilitate collaborative
action based on collective wisdom. The Academy has grown
considerably since its official formation as a UK based entity in
2005. Since that time, the Academy has secured long term
relationships with major global corporations such as Telefonica,
Akzo Nobel, BASF, Heineken, Electrolux and McDonald's producing
annual revenues in excess of £10 million. Over 200,000 executives
have benefited from Oxford leadership programmes in the areas of
leadership consultancy, training, coaching and large events. Along
with sister company Oxford Research, Oxford Group now has 85 full
time staff and 130 Fellows serving major global clients in 28
countries.
