Juan is a Partner of Oxford Leadership.

He delivers programmes to some of our largest clients including Metro, DSV, Novartis, Santander and Ferrovial. Juan also works as an executive coach at C-Suite level and is Lecturer at Esade Business School, Universitat Ramon Llull. Based in Spain, Juan works in Spanish and English.

Expertise
In 1983, after practicing law as independent lawyer he became International Corporate Lawyer of Banco de Vizcaya. In 1988 He lead the legal team of the IPO of BBV in the NYSE, London, Tokyo and Zurich SE. In 1990 he embarked on an international business career and became member of the Chairman’s office of Banco Santander and In 1994 he took the responsibility of the bank’s global cash management services. In 1997 he moved to the telecom Industry and joined Telefonica as SVP. Over a period of fifteen years he served in different Telefonica businesses such as Telefonica International, Atento, Terra-Lycos, Telefonica Cataluña and as a Director in several Corporate Boards. In 2005 He focused his energy in People development and Leadership and took the responsibility to set up a Corporate University for Telefonica worldwide, becoming in 2006 Head of “Telefonica Universitas” until 2010. During that period he was member of the International advisory board of the Said Business School of the University of Oxford.

Qualifications
Juan holds a Law degree from the University of Barcelona, a PDG from IESE, University of Navarra. He is Executive Coach, member of ICF.
