Senior Fellow
Matthias Gruendler is a Senior Fellow of the
Oxford Leadership Academy™. He is a consultant and business coach
who specialises in culture transformation, leadership development,
team building and executive coaching. Recent projects include large
scale consulting and leadership assignments across Financial
Services, Telecommunications and the IT industries including, BASF,
Telefonica and Crowe Horwath International.
Matthias draws from 18 years strategy, brand, CRM and
communications expertise in executive management roles and
collaborations with companies such as Siemens, Mercedes-Benz and
Philip Morris. He balances pragmatic, hand-on business requirements
with an in-depth understanding of what motivates and inspires
individuals, teams and organisations. Clients value in particular
his ability to help align values and beliefs with commercial rigour
and strategy.
Matthias has pursued extensive training in Systems Management
both through the Centre for Right Relationship (ORSC) and Fern Uni
Hagen in Germany. He has trained with the Coaches Training
Institute, is a certified consultant for Cultural Transformation
Tools (CTT), and a Team Diagnostics (TCI) facilitator.
Culture Change projects include:
- Siemens Medical: Communication strategy that aligned internal
culture with desired external brand positioning and
helped the healthcare business to become the key earner for Siemens
globally.
- HP / rtc.ch / Switzerland: Consulting with executive
management plus design/facilitation of multiple 8-month Leadership
Development Programmes with the Senior Talent pool.
- BNP Paribas: Development of a major culture transformation
initiative that helped a back-office operation to finally become
profitable for the first time since inception
- Telefónica University: design, development and facilitation of
training programmes to help facilitate customer centricity and
transformation within a complex organisational environment.
