Kate de Ban
Operations Director
Kate de Ban is Operations Director for Oxford Leadership
Academy™.
Kate has held a number of positions within
OLA since joining in 2006 and consequently has a far-reaching
understanding of the business. She oversees the reporting,
processes and controls from our Licensees and Partners, and is
responsible for all contractual relationships with Fellows,
Affiliates and Partners.
She is a specialist in managing programme
solutions for our corporate clients and manages an international
team of Programme Managers who support our regional programme
delivery teams. Kate is currently working with a team of Senior
Fellows to review and update all OLA core programme training
manuals and process documentation.
Having previously run her own financial services company, Kate
brings a strong portfolio of financial consultancy, media,
production and technical skills to her work with the Oxford
Leadership Academy. As a Supervisory Board and Executive Committee
Member, Kate is also responsible for the growth, development and
engagement of Partners and Fellows of the Oxford Leadership Academy
Worldwide.
In her professional engagements with OLA, Kate uses her
straightforward approach to things, alongside strong analytical,
common sense and logical reasoning abilities, and is guided by a
strong sense of personal responsibility and integrity.
Kate has worked with Telefónica Corporate University, Telefónica
o2 Germany and Telefónica o2 UK, AkzoNobel, BASF, Sandvik, Horwarth
International, Unilever, Ferrovial, Novartis, Crowe and Girl Scouts
USA. In 2010 and 2011 she organised a series of pro-bono master
classes with the British Red Cross securing the services of a
number of OLA Fellows from the UK, Europe and North America into
the facilitation team.
Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Media Studies
from the University of Stirling and the University of California,
Santa Barbara.
She is a trained small group facilitator for the Self Managing
Leadership® programme, and has also trained with ICA in
facilitating focused conversations and consensus workshops and is a
certified CTT consultant. Kate is also an FA qualified football
coach.
