Jonas Sjöholm is a Fellow of Oxford Leadership
Academy™. Prior to his work with the Academy he held several
senior positions within the IT sector of the finance and retail
industries. As the holder of a Diploma in Psychosynthesis therapy
from the Psychosynthesis Academy of Stockholm, he is deeply
committed to facilitating the personal and professional growth of
the people he works with.
Jonas Sjöholm started his professional career in the
business-related IT solutions sector of one of Sweden's major
banks. In 1995 he became head of a global division responsible for
all IT related business and business development within Trading and
Investment banking globally. The division, comprising of some 200
people, operated throughout Scandinavia, the UK and the USA,in
addition to a smaller unit in Singapore.
In 1999 Jonas became Managing Director of Entra Financial
Solutions the largest subsidiary within Entra Data AB; a Swedish
Stock Exchange listed firm offering business consultation to the
finance industry.
In 2001 he was recruited by H&M. As Managing Director his
first task was to revitalise the management team. His role as CIO
for the group involved the management of the business in the
regions of Asia, North America and Europe.
Jonas describes himself as "continuously looking for opportunities
to serve other people's growth and, of course, also seeking
opportunities to grow myself." To this end, in 2002, he founded his
own company specialising in leadership training, coaching and group
development. He is involved in the coaching and development of
leaders and runs open training courses. Furthermore, Jonas employs
his expertise as a personal therapist and as a developer of group
processes.
Jonas' proficiency in the field of leadership has led him to
work alongside a wide range of clients including; Cap Gemini, Ernst
& Young, H&M, GE, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Pitney Bowes,
Hall Sverige Ren and Kabi Fresenius. Furthermore, as a Management
Processes Developer and Coach he has worked with organisations
including; Price Waterhouse Coopers, H&M, GE, GM, Elanders,
Handelsbanken, the Swedish Post Office, TAB, Agria Insurance,
Nordea and Volati.
Jonas Sjöholm holds a Bachelor's degree in economics from
Stockholm University, obtained his Executive MBA from the Stockholm
School of Economics in 2000, his Psychosynthesis Therapy Diploma in
2007, and has completed a year-long leadership training course at
IFL Executive Education
